Intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) of HCT-116 cells oxidatively induced with H2O2 or DEM. Cells (105 cells/mL) oxidized with H2O2 (a) or DEM (b) were pre-incubated with THP, HP-p2 or the active peptides peaks (P3 or P4) at concentration of 200 μg/mL for 1 h at 37 °C under 5% CO2. The fluorescent redox probe DCFH-DA (1 mmol/L) was added to the treated cells. After 30 min at 37 °C, cells were washed with PBS, the fluorescence emission was measured at 538 nm upon excitation at 485 nm
